I just listened to shakedown from archive's SBD copy of 4-6-82 and it sucks! :( the audience copy isn't that bad. I'm sorry. I love this show, and I have a grate SBD version of this that doesn't sound like the one on archive.

It's ok if we don't GROK this tonite and everyone wants to pick something else. I don't want us to Grok a show that doesn't sound good.

There are several sources, someone would have to do a little due dilligence...

Cliff, not sure if I'm the one who gets to make this call, but I say lets go with this! I used the link you gave me and read all the reviews, and I so want to hear the playin between bobby and jerry during GDTRFB. This would fall under the 'shows with stories' category if they're in a 'battle' as one reviewer put it.

:)

Has the show been selected? What time to GROK?

Please post the Chatzy web address again. When I go there, I just get a window which allows me to create a room, not join.

Is there agreement on the 73 show?

4/6/85 is the best show of that philly run- but I strongly suggest another Spectrum show:

http://www.archive.org/details/gd87-03-30.matrix.18255.sbeok.shnf

I was at this one- one of the best first sets of the 2nd half of the 80's and the second set is no slouch-

Shakedown, All over Now, Stagger Lee, Good Time Blues, Box of Rain, Loser, Cassidy

II Iko Iko, St Circumstance into He's Gone into Jam into Drums into space into truckin into wharf rat, anto throwings stones, into not fade away

Back stretch a common set of songs but excellant

3/31 is great too
